The Hong Kong protests are protests triggered by the introduction of the Fugitive Offenders bill by the Hong Kong government. Chief Executive, Carrie Lam. If enacted, the bill would have allowed the extradition of criminals who are wanted in territories with which Hong Kong does not currently have extradition agreements, including Taiwan and Mainland China.
Hong Konger did not want this to happen, while Carrie Lam agrees with China to take over Hong Kong. Because if China take over Hong Kong then the hong kongers have to change the rules to china rules. So hong konger have to protest about it. The first protest wasn’t enough to make Carrie Lam free Hong Kong, so hongkongers did another protest with thousands of people. Unfortunately, Carrie Lam still doesn’t agree with HongKongers, so protess kept on going and going….Until Carrie Lam couldn’t take it anymore and sent policemen to handle the situation. Policemen sprayed teargas to stop the protesters, but they wouldn’t give up, they continued to fight for freedom!
